IFcompost launched in the Idaho Falls Area in 2024 with the goal of reducing waste and improving soil health in the local community. We recognize the need for a compost service that would divert compostable waste away from dumps and into local soil as nutrient-rich compost.
IFcompost takes pride in helping local residents reduce their environmental impact and improve the quality of their soil.
We strive to make significant contributions to the health of our local environment by providing a better path for waste that can’t be recycled and doesn’t belong in a landfill. By reusing nutrients and organic matter in unused food scraps, composting promotes healthier soil that improves plant growth, decreases water consumption, and reduces harmful gases being released into the atmosphere.
